How telecare works

Our alarm unit is a simple piece of equipment that works alongside your own telephone.

If you feel unwell, have a fall or have any other difficulty at anytime night or day, you just push a button worn on your wrist or as a neck pendant and the unit will automatically connect you to our experienced telecare team.

We will ask you about the problem and arrange the help you need.  Sometimes a friendly ear and re-assurance is all that’s required.  Or we may contact your chosen keyholders or a family member and ask them to pop in to check on you.  If necessary we’ll call the emergency services and we will stay with you until they arrive.

Our team are fully trained and equipped with the latest telecare technology and equipment. We are able to instantly identify who is calling and hold each client’s full medical details along with clear instructions what to do in an emergency.

You can speak to our team via the powerful alarm unit even if you are in another room, but if you are unable to speak we will still know from our records it is you calling and we will instantly arrange help.

The unit can be fitted to any telephone point near to an electric wall socket.  You can carry on using your telephone in the usual way.
