The development of 2nd generation Telecare technology brings with it a range of new challenges. Passive monitoring of the health and well being of increasingly dependent clients is very different to traditional applications typically relying on user intervention to alert to a crisis. For Telecare to truly deliver on the independent living agenda, it is critical that a framework exists for the core components around assessment, installation, monitoring, response and review.

We are one of Kent's partners in its Active Living Technology project and have developed skills and experience in delivering all elements of a Telecare service.
